The Wasted Vote
The other Jo, Jorgensen asks: Does defensive voting really make sense?

To be clear, I always voted Libertarian and never felt my vote was wasted even though the two mainstream parties argued otherwise. It always felt like voting Democrat or Republican was voting for the lesser of two evils. While I claim to be a Libertarian I don’t care for many of the party’s fringe ideas. Too much too soon is my thinking. Change is a process, it shouldn’t shock the system. My vote was mostly in protest.
In 2020 I re-registered as an independent. They call it “Other” here in Zona. The state doesn’t respect Independents enough to even call us independents; but I registered that way to vote against the maga cult in their primary.
This Presidential election is different. It’s not a choice of the lesser of two evils. Freedom is on the ballot next Tuesday. Either you vote for Freedom or you vote against Freedom. You vote for the Allies or you vote for the Axis of Evil. Make no mistake, 45 is right about this, this is how world wars start. This is how millions of lives are lost. Because the populace refuses to pay attention.
If you don’t tend to your Freedom, some narcissistic douchebag will come along and take it from you. Make no mistake, that’s what’s happening here.

Because I had this role four years ago, I feel for Chase Oliver, the Libertarian Party candidate for President. The media has ignored his campaign even though the potential libertarian audience now numbers in the tens of millions.
This is your chance. You can break the media blackout and ask Mr. Oliver direct questions.
CHASE OLIVER LIVE, FRIDAY AT 8:30 pm Eastern/5:30 pm Pacific
The presidential race is already decided in most states. You have a better chance of being bitten by a bat on the way to the polls than you do casting the deciding vote. (ZnaSky edit: I believe someone was four years ago. Look what happened then) Should these facts influence your voting strategy?
Misdirected “defensive voting” – voting for the lesser of two evils – is why the tens of millions of libertarians fail to translate into tens of millions of votes. Perhaps Chase Oliver could be your way to tell the powers that be what you really want. Thanks to my friend Jim Babka, this is your chance to find out.
