WTC

I’ve been taking a trip down memory lane. I was thinking about how fast news travels. I was in the city when the first World Trade Center bombing went down. That was definitely an eye opener. That event, not to be disrespectful to those that suffered, came ever so close to tipping the scales on my decision to move to Arizona. Not quite, but close.

That’s when I truly realized that NYC is arguably the center of the world. And for being such – every Tom, Dick and Harry is out to hit the center.

Not to digress but I figured I didn’t want to be in the center. Me thinks that really narrows down one’s chances. What tipped the scale though was the lax gun laws in the Wild West. As compared to heavily regulated NY, that is. So, I said to myself: that’s where I want to be.

To the point, nobody knew what was going on in ‘94. Everybody was like, WTF?! Compared to now, it seems like the news is reported so fast that it appears to be consumed before it actually happens.

January 6th for example.
